David, we wanted to sincerely thank you for everything you did for our family. You were professional, empathetic, and truly listened to what we believe our Mum wanted. You understood and interpreted them perfectly.

Your respectful and accommodating manner meant that nothing felt that it was too much trouble. You even got our little quirks, which made the whole experience feel personal and reassuring.

You certainly helped us give our mum the send-off she deserved, and made a very emotional day bearable, and for that we will always be grateful. With heartfelt thanks.

David, I am very grateful to you and all the Smallbones’ team for all your help in preparing for and conducting my Mother’s funeral yesterday. From the outset, your care and attention were excellent and Karen and Fliss could not have been more helpful.

Good morning Neale and all of you at Smallbones, I really want to, again, thank you for your sensitivity over our loss of my lovely Ann. Thank you especially for allowing the grandsons to carry her on the sticks! I have had many comments saying that when she came and went to and from the church she was surrounded by the boys, in love, not held high up, although I’m not saying that’s wrong, this just worked for us!

I have also had many comments about the service, but very especially about the committal, and the way you escorted her up the path. Her wish for many years had been when the time came she just wanted to drive off into the bush. Well there’s not much bush in Hungerford, but with your help, we did the next best thing.

Dear Michael, I wanted to write to you and express my family’s gratitude for your help and support during my father’s funeral and in the lead up to it. It has been an incredibly difficult time but your knowledge and professionalism have made things much easier. We were particularly grateful that you were prepared to wait at Acorn Ridge to allow our extended family to arrive. Please pass on our thanks to everyone in your office too.

May I take this opportunity to thank you and all at RC Smallbone for being a warm and professional presence for my family during this sorrowful time. Your expertise and knowledge helped guide us through a process which was bewildering and difficult. We could not have done it without you.

I just wanted to say to you all thank you so so much for all your hard work in making Pete’s send off so brilliant. Right from the first point of contact you took all the stress away in arranging everything on my behalf.

Having the Police presence was so emotional for us all but so lovely at the same time and filled us with such pride. We knew Pete was popular and well loved but didn’t quite realise just how much! Everything was just so perfect if you can say that about a funeral.

I just wanted to say how hugely grateful my father and I are to you all for yesterday. Everything was perfect and immaculate and my darling mother was so beautifully looked after by you and Michael and all your team. The coffin was just lovely and the flowers, and she was carried so respectfully. The Service Sheets looked fantastic and so many people commented on them and you reproduced everything just perfectly.

You made a very difficult day so much easier and I felt just so relaxed and confident that you had so much in hand and under control! A huge thank you to you and Michael and all the team.

Wonderful service provided by Neale and his team. So friendly and helpful made a very difficult day much easier, everything organised beautifully, and comforting reassurance at the actual crematorium. Thank you very much. Highly recommended.
